Ancient overdue photos
Sigh...finally found the time and mustered the energy to post on this almost-defunct blog! (Yes! Blogging requires energy!)
Last week (which seems so long ago), three happy tubists merrily lugged two extraordinarily light tubas from the college band room to the 3rd floor of SALT centre! They were on a mission...to rid these filthy tubas...
of their accumulated dirt and scum! (Haha...abit exaggerated lol)
Look at all them tuning slides! I suspect they are mass-produced somewhere in the land of Yamaha or whereabout and are specially designed to fit into any of the valves 1, 3 and 4! Calculate the number of permutations to fit each tuning slide (assigned an arbitrary number) into the valve-holes (what are the tube-ish openings called?)
Hmm guess who tried to infringe on the copyright for Yamaha's logo?
Tubas in the shower. What an odd sight. They look like WWII POWs in those gas chambers ready to be suffocated with hydrogen cyanide HCN...(At this point, a certain Yating wanted - and did! - enter the guy's bathroom *shocked look*!!! Some of the guys from band had to stand sentry at the entry (rhyming coincidental) to prevent toilet-goers from getting a pleasant fright...)
Taa-daa! After! (Unfortunately, I do not have a similar "before" pic otherwise we could do one of those quirky "before & after" comparisons...like the slimming ads you see on the bottom half on the front page of the Straits Times' Life! section almost everyday)
